Cultural Narrative: 

‘… as the ships were sailing [into Botany Bay], a number of natives assembled on the south shore & by their motions seemd to threaten, they pois’d their spears & often repeated the words Wara, Wara'. 

Captain John Hunter was one of the English invaders on board the Sirius when it arrived at Kamay (Botany Bay), before the fleet settled at Warang (Sydney Cove). He wrote down some of the words he heard from the Gweagal mob at Kamay.
