Hospital Creek massacre site. Hospital Creek is where the largest massacre in the area, some 300 men, women and children, happened in 1859. The monument was put there by the land council 1995 in memory of the people massacred

Original title: 

'Back To Brewarrina Mission' gathering at the Integrated Child and Family Centre. Organised by Lorina Barker as part of her Phd through UNE. It was held for people who were still alive and their descendants who come of the Mission. In this photo Lorina (standing near the large glass doors) has just finished her introduction, and Eva Boney (the lady standing towards the back) is about to do a "welcome to country" speech.
